DevOps & Delivery Automation Engineer
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release systems, and delivery automation that improve engineering throughput and deployment reliability.
Quix is looking for a DevOps & Delivery Automation Engineer who understands that delivery systems are themselves products — and who brings the same care to pipeline design, automation reliability, and developer experience that application engineers bring to product code. This role is for someone who can move from CI configuration to deployment orchestration to environment management with confidence and precision.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-service enterprise delivery environments.
- Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment workflows across cloud and container-based platforms.
- Manage environment configuration, secrets, and deployment targets with repeatable, auditable tooling.
- Establish release quality gates: automated testing, code scanning, artifact validation, and approval workflows.
- Improve developer experience by reducing pipeline friction, build times, and feedback loop latency.
- Monitor delivery system health: pipeline success rates, deployment frequency, and recovery times.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and SRE teams to align deployment systems with operational readiness requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Experience managing secrets, environment variables, and deployment credentials securely.
- Ability to debug delivery failures across complex multi-stage pipelines.
- Clear documentation of pipeline configurations, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GitOps patterns and tools: ArgoCD, Flux, or equivalent.
- Background in artifact registry management and software supply chain security.
- Experience in regulated environments where audit trails and change management are required.
Delivery automation quality affects how frequently teams can ship, how confidently changes reach production, and how quickly incidents can be resolved. Reliable CI/CD systems reduce manual coordination overhead, decrease deployment risk, and give engineering teams the confidence to iterate at enterprise scale.
