Senior Front-End Systems Engineer
Build and maintain complex front-end systems, enterprise dashboards, and design-system-backed component architecture for high-trust environments.
Quix is looking for a Senior Front-End Systems Engineer with the depth to build production UI systems that go beyond appearance — covering performance, accessibility, state management, component architecture, and integration with back-end data layers. This role is for someone who treats front-end engineering as a discipline requiring the same rigor applied to infrastructure or API design.
What You’ll Do
- Build complex, data-intensive UI components and dashboard surfaces for enterprise clients.
- Maintain a component library and design system layer that supports consistent, accessible interfaces.
- Optimize rendering performance, bundle size, and time-to-interactive for production environments.
- Integrate front-end surfaces with REST APIs, GraphQL layers, and real-time data streams.
- Establish interaction quality standards: keyboard navigation, ARIA patterns, and screen reader compatibility.
- Collaborate with back-end engineers and solutions architects to design clean data contracts and view models.
- Contribute to front-end observability: error tracking, performance monitoring, and usage instrumentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong production experience with React and TypeScript in complex, data-heavy enterprise interfaces.
- Deep understanding of component architecture, state management, and front-end performance optimization.
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and their practical implementation.
- Proficiency integrating front-end systems with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Ability to reason about design systems, token-driven styling, and cross-team component consistency.
- Clear communication and ability to work across design, product, and back-end engineering teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with server-side rendering or edge rendering frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
- Background in data visualization libraries: D3, Recharts, or AG Grid.
- Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
The front-end surfaces built in this role are where enterprise clients experience Quix directly. Performance, accessibility, and interface clarity at this level directly affect user confidence, operational accuracy, and the credibility of the product in demanding enterprise environments.
